DIVERSITY
COMMITMENTS
As an organization, we commit to equip our staff on diversity issues
that will enhance the lives of families, staff, students, and participants
by showing commitment to ensuring every student and participant
feels represented within our classrooms and treatment spaces.
As an organization, we commit to show cultural sensitivity that will
enhance the lives of our families, students, participants, and staff by
modeling humility and active listening (with your ears, eyes, or both)
when we expose ourselves to narratives that are different from our
own.
As an organization, we commit to show self awareness with our own
thoughts, feelings, and judgements as it relates to the diversity of our
community that will enhance the lives of our families, students,
participants, and staff. This will be accomplished by showing humility
in recognizing that our ability to equip and empower is tied to better
understanding communities/experiences outside of our own.
