GROWTH MINDSET
Hannah is a teacher at Giant Steps and embodies the core value of Growth Mindset every
day. Hannah has implemented programming to support students accessing their community
G and gain skills to achieve personal and academic goals. The students and team members that
work in Hannah's classroom are always growing!
STUDENT & PARTICIPANT - CENTEREDNESS
Frank has worked as a paraprofessional at Giant Steps for 7 years! One of the many core
values that Frank embodies is Student-Centeredness. Frank thinks outside of the box to
S provide input for, and utilize, student supports to maximize independence!
COLLABORATION
Robbie, OT, embodies collaboration. His way of sharing information and strategies at IEP meetings
is not only informative, but highly engaging and effective. Additionally, when working with outside
professionals he is exceptional in his warmth, cooperative spirit, and positive momentum. On his
C own team, he is a leader for optimism, calm, and balance. Robbie gets everyone on board and does
it with a smile!

As a Behavior Analyst, one of the core values that Tyler exemplifies is accountability. Tyler's
team and students know that they can count on him to implement plans, follow through with
A his promises and make sure to participate in a dance-off at that drop of a hat. Tyler works hard
and has fun doing it!
RESILIENCE
Angel demonstrates resilience! He has been a Giant Steps team member for over ten years!
Angel's role is often focused on helping our students through tough times and in turn, Angel
R helps all of us through tough times. He comes to work every day with a smile on his face and
reminds us to make it a good day "on purpose."
EMPOWERMENT
Jess, Occupational Therapist, embodies our core value of empowerment with both students
and staff. She is always looking for a way to help our students manage their sensory needs
E independently and training staff on how to best support students sensory needs. She's an
outside of the box thinker and always empowers others to do the same.
SELF-AWARENESS
Jessie is a dedicated BCBA serving at our Canopy Adult Day Program. She consistently seeks out
feedback to enhance the quality of her services and demonstrates an exceptional ability to
S implement suggestions promptly and thoughtfully. Jessie actively evaluates the effectiveness of
her interventions, ensuring they are tailored to meet the evolving needs of our participants.
