The Canopy Adult Program is committed to

educational, and life skills training and support for
adults with autism.

In partnership with Rich Harvest Farms, Giant Steps provides the model for a re-imagined
community that serves adults with autism, offering them hope for safe, fulfilled, and happy
lives. The Canopy model offers lifelong age-appropriate vocational and social-emotional
learning opportunities. Our vision is to provide this underserved population with individual
programming that engages the strengths and interests of each participant while offering
meaningful opportunities to interact with the broader community.

General Overview
G ener al O v er view
Canopy Adult Programs run Monday - Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. in the Sugar Grove facility, with
transportation options provided to and from the Giant Steps Day School in Lisle. For those taking part in the
transportation options, the program day extends to 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., pending availability of seating and
the ability of the individual to ride safely according to our Caravan Policies.
