Giant Steps saw many successes
during the 2016-2017 program year! A
great number of these were brought about
as a direct result of the support and generosity of our wonderful Giant Steps family. Two
of these achievements are major milestones in the expansion of our services and how we
support our students and participants: the S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering,
art and math) Lab and therapeutic equine program.
Our S.T.E.A.M. Lab is off to a tremendous start! We have built a one-of-a-kind,
technological learning environment at Giant Steps Day School that is innovative and
exciting. Interacting in the worlds of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in
new and different ways, brings to life thought-provoking concepts within these subjects.
Our S.T.E.A.M. programming incorporates hands-on experiences focused on empowering
